There are still a few more disadvantages to owing a corporation. Along with owning a corporation, a great amount of responsibility comes with it. There is a lot more complexity and expense with forming a corporation. More extensive record keeping is a crucial necessity of owing a corporation as well. If you plan to own a corporation across state lines, this often requires the corporation to qualify with the other state to do business there.
